Thanks to all teams playing in the Randy Boyle Pre-season Tournament. A couple updates/clarifications for all. Please remember its ours and the umpires pre season also.
1. Rules:
(a) Our rec pitching limits for league (see rules under coaches corner on the website) are different than for the tournament. For the tournament, a pitcher may pitch up to 3 innings and still pitch the next game. Any more than 3 innings in a game/day they must rest the next game.
(b) Tigerball runs per half inning for the tournament and league are five (5). This is discussed in the rules specific for Tigerball. All other ages get 6.
2. Tournament schedules and refund policy, please bear with us, hopefully the rain will hold off. If it does not the refund policy is, do not play = 100% refund; play 1 game = 50% refund; play 2 or more games no refund; no refunds on gate.
3. League schedules: League schedules are being verified, some are published. We expect them all published this week. Believe it or not, scheduling over 1600 games in 4 parks is not easy.
4. Tournament game issues: Stephanie is our tournament director. Only she can change scheduled games. Evidently some coaches chose to switch games and now there is mass confusion and complaints over game times etc..
