Rain Out Make ups

Coaches, this weather pattern is painful to us all, and it appears we will be blessed with more rain. Unfortunately we have already reached the breaking point with make ups. Therefore, you must play when your game is rescheduled for.  We can no longer reschedule reschedules for convenience or other reasons. We also can not move regular season games at this time.

General reschedule guidance is as follows. This may change.

Due to tournament play differring for every Open (Competitive)team we do not resachedule open play for Fridays and Weekends. We may reschedule for any other day. Open coaches, If you have a weekend you can play (or Friday) please let your age rep know.  We may extend the open season out a couple of weeks to make sure we get the games played. This will also keep you tuned for post season play.

REC coaches, we can schedule your make ups for anyday of the week. Over the years we have learned that the REC season needs to end by mid June due to family vacations etc.. We will do so this year.

All coaches, reschedules may result in your team playing 3-4 games in a week, or double headers.  We are considering setting up alternate pitching rules to help with the obvious issue this creates. However, at this time our pitching rules remain unchanged.

We are also looking at the possibility of reduced game times (for makeups only) and/or drop dead game times (makeups only) in some leagues to make sure we get all games played.  No changes yet!

We do not control the weather but we do have to deal with it. Please understand it is our intention to get every game played.

If you can not or will not play when a game is rescheduled it will be recorded as a forfeit and not rescheduled. If you choose to forfeit please let us know so we can schedule another game in that slot. Failure to do so is covered in our Rules, see them for possible penalties.

Again, Please understand we are just making every attempt possible to get games played under the conditions we have to deal with, it is nothing personal against you or your team.
