The BAYB Umpire Coordinator should be able to facilitate the following Job Description:
Schedule and pay all needed umpires for the Fall 2009 League and the 2010 Spring, Summer, and Fall Leagues as well as Super Series and BAYB hosted tournaments.
Must be at the Fields for the Start of games each game day.
Must provide weekly schedules of umpires
Must hold or facilitate trainings for new and experienced umpires.
Must do evaluations and provide any necessary extra training for umpires.
Will be responsible for assisting with Office Manager for 1099 information for all umpires and keep accounting of umpire pay.
The Umpire Coordinator will serve on the Rules/Protest Committee so they must be available for meetings and such.
They should hold meetings for umpires for League, Qualifying tournaments, and our Nationals or World Series events to ensure that they have a working knowledge of BAYB, Super Series, or other host event, as well as basic to advanced umpire knowledge and skills.
Bids should include, years umpire experience, any extra skills that you might could offer, as well as pay schedule you desire.

bayouthbaseball.rec@windstream.net. Bids MUST be recieved on or before August 29th, 2009
