Major NEW Construction is Under way at the Ballpark!

BAYB is so excited about all the improvements going on at the ballpark. 
The City of Broken Arrow is currently revamping our backstop fencing  going from dugout to dugout on each field with New heavy gauge fencing to improve our backstops.

The Upper Complex is finally getting the new lighting poles in as the middle complex has had for several years so no more blind spots or players losing the ball in the lights in the upper complex.  We are also planning some Major field renovations to the upper complex later this year.

The MAJOR item at the park though is our concessions buildings....they are COMING DOWN!!  Thanks to all the bond voters, BAYB will be getting brand new stands this year, and YES, THAT INCLUDES THE BATHROOMS IN THE UPPER AND MIDDLE COMPLEXES.  BAYB has made arrangements for concessions during these renovations and are so very excited to be getting rid of those 30+ year old buildings.

What that does mean for our patrons for the 2010 season is that we may have to work around some construction issues here at the ballpark as all of this unfolds.  Minor inconveniences will most likely happen, however, if we all keep in mind that the Baseball Fields at Indian Springs Sports Complex will practically be completely NEW for the 2011 season, it will be a small sacrifice.  We plan to keep you updated on the progress here and hope that you are all as excited about the renovations as we are at BAYB.
