Spring 2011 Registrations

2010-12-01

BAYB is using a new software this year to register Recreational and Open players. We are developing it quickly, however it was not ready to go "live" as of Dec.1st. Please keep checking back.

BAYB offers leagues to boys and girls in the Broken Arrow Metro Area from 3 yrs to 18 yrs of age.  Teams are co-ed in all age groups.

Open Leagues may register at any time from now through Feb. 11th.  Open Teams are formed by Try-outs and we post team try-outs as well as players looking for teams on our website under the Try outs/Teams Wanted tab.
Open League fees this year are 8U $1,150 and 9-14U $1,600.
All League fees cover umpire costs and Team Insurance.

Our REC League will begin registrations in December online.  The Deadline for players to be guaranteed to be on a team (even returning players) is Feb. 11th. (See our Calendar of Events for Saturday Registration Dates)  All Players that sign up on or before Feb. 11th will be placed in the player pool or returned to last years teams.  Teams will be formed after Feb. 11th with the Managers being given their teams the first week of March.

After Feb. 11th, a late fee of $15 will be charged and players will NOT be guaranteed a spot but instead will be placed on a waiting list for an available spot to open up.

The prices for Registrations are as follows for REC Players:

T-ball (3 & 4 yrs) $90
Tiger Ball ( 5 & 6 yrs) $110
7 and 8 REC is $110
9U-12U REC is $115
13 & 14 REC is $120

All REC players must do a mandatory fundraiser as part of the registration costs.  We have lowered that mandatory amount to sell 30 Raffle Tickets or do a buy-out amount of $60.

Our Warren Spahn Memorial League (High School players 15-18 yrs) is $150 and all players will sign up individually, however teams may form themselves as Open teams.  Those players that do not have a team will be placed on a team via a player pool.

Players age cut-off date is May 1st.  So the age that your child is as of April 30th dictates the age group your child should play in.  Players may play up one age group, however they may never play down.

Keep watching the website for Registration information and the Online registration link on Dec. 1st.

There have been a lot of changes out at the ballpark and we hope to see everyone again for a GREAT 2011 Season.

Thank you.

BAYB
