Dear BAYB Members (Parents and Coaches): 

The Broken Arrow Youth Baseball (BAYB) outgoing board recognizes the commitment that is required for participation in games and practice and we would like to thank you and your players for making the 2011 Spring and Summer seasons great successes.   

As we look forward to the start of the 2011 Fall season, preparation for the 2012 Spring league is beginning, we are looking for volunteers to carry on our tradition and lead BAYB to higher levels of success.  If you are interested or would like additional information on becoming a board member, we encourage you to contact our Manager, Jim Stickney, at the league office at 918-255-2292 or email him at bayouthbaseball.rec@windstream.net. We recognize that many of you already serve as coaches, managers, or team moms and we thank you for that.  However, it takes many volunteers to run a successful youth sports program and we are continually looking for new ideas and individuals to help us promote and enhance our youth baseball.  We greatly appreciate your consideration for a position on our board.

Coaches, as a coach you have member voting rights and we hope you choose to use them. On Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 7:00 pm, in the Community Center at Nienhuis Park in Broken Arrow (Juneau and Lynn Lane), there will be a meeting to elect new board members for the 2012 seasons. Your opinions count and your vote will help shape the future of BAYB. We look forward to seeing you there.
