BAYB Board Structure Changed

Our members identified rescheduling of games as an issue important to them and in an effort to improve this process we reviewed past practices and ways to improve efficiency. 

One of the review identified problems was that the structure of the board was based on field complex and open/recreational baseball lines which left multiple persons responsible for the same fields, thus requiring an additional coordination step for reschedules.  This problem has been addressed by restructuring the board along field usage rather than field complexes which host multiple leagues.  

This means that now 1 person (Age Coordinator) is reponsible for the leagues that play on specific fields.  That 1 coordinator is free to reschedule games with out need for further coordination of field usage.  They still must coordinate with field maintenance and umpires but reducing the level of coordination effort should greatly improve the reschedule process.

We will continue to refine this and other processes to better serve all our members and the youth of BA and the Tulsa area.
