COACHES MEETING

2012-08-27

IF YOU WAN TO MAKE CHANGES TO YOUR CHILD'S BASEBALL PROGRAM THEN YOU MUST ATTEND THE GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING AND ELECTION AUGUST 30TH 7PM NEINHAUS PARK

Broken Arrow Youth Baseball is looking for volunteers for the 2012-2013 year who can work together with other board members to accomplish the mission of BAYB. Our goal is to enhance our community by teaching through baseball; the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, safety, and other characteristics of moral citizenship, and by fostering the growth of our community greatest assets, our youth. We will promote, develop, sustain and supervise a youth baseball program, to develop core values (character, respect and leadership) and fitness in our youth. Winning baseball games is not an objective of BAYB.

Please email the office at
bayouthbaseball.rec@windstream.net or call the office at (918)455-2292.

Volunteering is a thankless job and there is no notoriety that goes along with it. The only benefits are the chances to positively affect a young athletes life and doing that through America’s National Pastime! The “work” side is that as a board member 15 to 20 hours a week or more maybe required during spring season. Also 90% of all activities including but not limited to: Monthly Board Meeting, Board Work Days – including park maintenance and registration days, Tournaments – board members required to work at least 3 tournaments, Weekly Board Duty and at least 2 committees. All while representing Broken Arrow Youth Baseball (BAYB) in a professional manner both at the ballpark and in the community.
